My Spiritual Beliefs:

The Divine, The Infinite, The Creator, GOD, call It what you will, IT is so beyond the proper comprehension of man that to attempt a definition is little short of a ludicrous presumption. That It exists and that we are part of It's Divine Creation and Plan seems to me patently obvious. I believe our very existence in Earthly Incarnation is meant as an opportunity to expand our consciousness toward a greater capacity for comprehending The Divine. As our consciousness expands so too does our ability to act as a current to radiate the Light and Love of God. All lives are but pathways, a route towards the Divine, no matter how circuitous, mis-guided or seemingly inadequate. Each of us is entitled to his/her beliefs; none of us are entitled to force our beliefs upon others.

I believe we have many incarnations both in physical form on Planet Earth and in other forms and dimensions and that ALL LIFE FORMS ARE SACRED.

I have very little personal respect/regard for institutionalized religions. For the most part historically and to the present day they represent a form of control mostly counter-productive in the path towards Enlightenment. Where a religion is supposedly founded upon the teachings of an individual, however enlightened he/she may have been, it has long since been corrupted. The idea that a 'sacred' book is the Divinely Spoken & infallible word of God is unacceptable to me.

I hold the Christian Church in particular responsible for the suffering, degradation, torture, repression, murder and corruption of countless millions of Life Forms and find it sad that so many human beings seem incapable of independent thought, or at least an attempt at it, even in the 21st century.

Not withstanding this I do of course try to respect other peoples' beliefs so long as they do not infringe on the rights and liberty of their fellow man and creatures. I also realise for some people a belief system, such as Christianity, is a means to their further spiritual development. I have some wonderful 'Christian' friends whose concept and practice of their faith I hold to be commendable and for whom I have the highest respect and admiration. We must all be true to ourselves, follow our own unique path through this life and many others TOWARD THE DIVINE
